Everyone in the sport has the right to enjoy the sport at whatever level or position they participate. Athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive training and competitive environment that is free of abuse, harassment or discrimination.

As a member of both Racquetball Canada and Sask Sport, we have a number of resources available that assist participants and our member clubs in addressing complaints and preventing all forms of disputes and maltreatment.

The Saskatchewan Racquetball Association is committed to a Safe Sport Framework that is led by PREVENTION, enhanced by EDUCATION and has a REPORTING process.

Our Safe Sport Framework will be supported by a strong set of policies and guidelines. As we continue to develop our provincial policies, we encourage you to also view Racquetball Canada’s policies.

Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport

The Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS) is the core document that sets harmonized rules for conduct and behaviour to advance a respectful sport culture that delivers quality, inclusive, accessible, welcoming, and safe sport experiences.

The UCCMS is integrated into policies as well as the process for reporting and the steps we take towards prevention and education. All those who become registered participants in SRA and Racquetball Canada activities agree to adhere to the UCCMS, as well as the policies of the organizations.

Whether you’re interested in safe sport training or wish to report or respond to an issue, understanding the UCCMS will help.
