What is Safe Sport?

Safe Sport Overview

Everyone in the sport has the right to enjoy the sport at whatever level or position they participate. Athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive training and competitive environment that is free of abuse, harassment or discrimination.

Safe Sport Operational Statement

The Saskatchewan Racquetball Associaiton wants to ensure a safe and positive environment exists in all programs, activities and events held at the provincial and club level by making individuals aware that there is an expectation, at all times, of appropriate behaviour consistent with our core values. We support equal opportunity, prohibit discriminatory practices, and are committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and fairness.

Safe Sport Framework

The Saskatchewan Racquetball Association is committed to a Safe Sport Framework that is led by PREVENTION, enhanced by EDUCATION and has a REPORTING process.

Our Safe Sport Framework will be supported by a strong set of policies and guidelines. As wel develop those policies, we encourage you to also view Racquetball Canada’s policies. Click here to link to those policies.
