Two Saskatchewan Inductees into the Racquetball Canada Hall of Fame

Kris Odegard and Roald Thompson were both honoured this past weekend as they were inducted into the Racquetball Canada Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place in conjunction with the Canadian Championships Award Banquet held in Langley, BC. Also inducted was former national team athlete Simon Roy.

Odegard was recognized for his successful career as a national team athlete. He represented Canada on 11 occasions, winning 14 medals at the international level. Roald Thompson contributed to the strong foundation of the sport in Saskatchewan as a player, coach and advocate of coach training and development. Thompson was active both provincially and nationally in ensuring the sport grew and that programs were successful. The Saskatchewan Racquetball Association would like to extend their congratulations to both Kris and Roald. As well as a heart felt thank you for all that they did for the sport through their accomplishments and contributions.
