Drury Finishes National Team Selection Event with Personal Best

Saskatchewan athletes had a strong showing, highlighted by a third place finish for Danielle Drury of Saskatoon. This is the highest place finish at the national elite level for Drury, who is a member of the National Development Team. Drury had excellent results throughout the tournament and came up with big win in the bronze medal match upsetting the 3rd seed Christine Richardson of Winnipeg.

Top ten finishes for Saskatchewan men include James Landeryou of Saskatoon who finished sixth, Lee Connell of Saskatoon who finished eighth and Tanner Prentice of Macrorie who ended the tournament in ninth. Cassie Prentice finished 9th in the women’s event.

Tim Landeryou finished in third place. Landeryou currently lists his residence as Calgary but is in the process of returning to Saskatoon with his family.
