(GUATEMALA CITY) <\/strong>December 6, 2024 – Team Canada is set to kick off competition on Saturday, December 6, at the 2024 International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Junior Championships in Guatemala City. The event will run from December 7 to 14, showcasing top junior talent from around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten athletes from Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Qu\u00e9bec are representing Canada. Each qualified for their spot on the team by finishing in the top two in their age divisions at the Racquetball Canada National Championships held last May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Canadians in competition at World Junior Championships are Oren Gouldie (Brandon) in the Junior Esprit Cup and Challenger Cup and Eva Pocsai (New Hamburg) in the Adult Challenger Cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Racquetball Federation will be live streaming matches through the tournament on their Facebook Page and YouTube channel. As well PanAm Sports will be broadcasting on their online channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
